I love broadband

After a weekend of dial-up, it's a treat to use DSL in my office and Chas just phoned to say that the satellite tech fixed our internet reception at the farm. Turns out the eyeball in the satellite was so coated with algae that it couldn't see the satellite. Not surprised - everything gets coated with algae (and/or mildew and other molds and fungi) when you live in a damp forest.

But that may all be wasted on me this week as I have to do my quarterly "lodging" taxes as well as the usual end of month stuff. So I may blog only a little this week.
