Our well is running dry - again

We haven't had much rain for 5 months now - about 2 inches if that. The 2,500 gallon storage tank for our well water is down to 1,200 gallons and falling.

The first summer on the farm, the well ran dry and we had to bring water up from the trailer park in a 450 gallon tank on the back of the truck twice a week. Fortunately we have since started drawing water from the creek to irrigate the orchard and gardens so we will only have to bring water from the trailer park once a week to fill up the 2,500 gallon tank which is plumbed into the house.

I better take some seasickness pills. The way that much water sloshes around really sways the truck.
