Underage naked chicks

That should draw some pervs. Hah!

Two of the bantam hens went missing for the past few months. Bantams are notorious for going into bushes to hide their eggs. Sometimes they start sitting on their eggs and try to hatch "stealth clutches" of chicks but they are then usually killed and eaten by varmints like raccoons, skunks, possums and weasels. Well, yesterday Chas called us out into the barnyard to come and see a "surprise." One of the bantams hens had turned up with nine new chicks. They're only a few days old. It's a miracle that they weren't killed.
