Snow on first day of spring in South Africa

The South African Weather Service has warned of cold and wet conditions for large parts of the country.

Snow has been forecasted for KwaZulu-Natal, the Eastern Cape and several higher-lying regions.

Minimum temperatures of -2'C have been forecast for Sutherland and Graaff-Reinet, while very cold conditions were also forecast for the Free State.

It's that damn global warming again!
