Democrats to let offshore drilling ban expire?

I'll believe it when I see it. After all it is AP who is reporting it:

Democrats have decided to allow a quarter-century ban on drilling for oil off the Atlantic and Pacific coasts to expire next week, conceding defeat in a months-long battle with the White House and Republicans set off by $4 a gallon gasoline prices this summer.

The ban expires at the end of this month. Maybe Nancy discovered that Botox is made from off-shore oil. Not really but I don't trust her or her other crazy colleagues as far as I can throw them.
