Palin - our very own Artemis

I found this picture of Sarah Palin and her daughter, Piper, with a fresh killed caribou (via the Corner) here.

It immediately made me think of Artemis the Greek goddess of hunting:

ARTEMIS was the great Olympian goddess of hunting, wilderness and wild animals. She was also a goddess of childbirth, and the protectress of the girl child up to the age of marriage.
